The author talks about Lithuania as an extremely attentive and honest observer of its life, who came here from the outside, but sees and understands its concerns and problems from the inside. Offering an authentic, aptly reflective and literaryly evocative portrait of modern Lithuania, the author asks the reader: how is it here - is everything very bad or is it going to be alright?
