Looking back on our childhood, we might rationally define it as a time of scarcity. Yet, the most charming part is that, for many of us, a simple slice of bread soaked in milk still evokes warmth. After all, the memories that linger most are not of elaborate dishes made from exotic ingredients, but of shared moments with family at a breakfast table covered with a red-and-white checkered oilcloth. 👵👩👧
